Abstract
This study was to verify correlation between sensory processing regulation and behavior problem, the effect of sensory processing regulation¡¯s sub-factor in behavior problem, the difference in groups and discriminanted the variables to predict groups. The participants were 335, 3 to 6 years typical children. The result was as follows: First, 274(81.8%) Typical performance, 43(12.8%) Probable difference, 18(5.4%) Definite difference. Second, The children's sensory processing regulation and behavior problem showed significant negative correlation. Third, Tactile Sensitivity, Movement Sensitivity, and Auditory Filtering accounted for 23% of Internalizing syndromes, and Tactile Sensitivity, Underresponsive/Seeks Sensation, Auditory Filtering accounted for 29% of Externalizing syndromes, and Total behavior problem. Fourth, In the result of discriminant ananlysis, verified that Withdrawn, Sleep problems subscales, and DSM Affective problems, DSM pervasive developmental problems as a predictor variable.
